The Guilt Trip

This poem is a limerick about anger and guilt, with which we attempt to maintain special relationships (according to the book A Course in Miracles).

For both anger and guilt are a glue
That is meant to prevent an adieu;
When your anger begins,
She feels guilty of sins,
And she lays the same guilt trip on you.
