Let’s Not Flee

This poem is about something reported in a small-town newspaper yesterday. Let’s not flee from our troubles but keep some hope alive. This poem is a triolet.

They found her hanging in a tree
Within a green and sunny park;
A year ago, who could foresee
They’d find her hanging in a tree?
This life is hard, but let’s not flee;
How did her life become so dark?
They found her hanging in a tree
Within a green and sunny park.
