This essay is about the will of God and the dangers of man-made electromagnetic energy.
According to classical European mythology, Cassandra was a Trojan and the daughter of Priam and Hecuba. She was a priestess of Apollo, and Apollo, hoping to win her favors, taught her the art of prophecy. However, since Cassandra never gave in to Apollo’s advances, he became angry and declared that Cassandra’s prophecies and warnings of disaster would never be believed. In one famous warning, she told her fellow Trojans that a large wooden horse was filled with Greek soldiers. Since no one believed her, the Greeks were able to invade and destroy Troy.
What does Cassandra have to do with Bible prophecy? If I am correct, the following passage from Isaiah deals with the effects of man-made electromagnetic energy.
Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!” He said, “Go, and tell this people:
‘Keep on listening, but do not perceive;
Keep on looking, but do not understand.’
“Render the hearts of this people insensitive,
Their ears dull,
And their eyes dim,
Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
Hear with their ears,
Understand with their hearts,
And return and be healed.”
Then I said, “Lord, how long?” And He answered,
“Until cities are devastated and without inhabitant,
Houses are without people
And the land is utterly desolate,
“The Lord has removed men far away,
And the forsaken places are many in the midst of the land.
“Yet there will be a tenth portion in it,
And it will again be subject to burning,
Like a terebinth or an oak
Whose stump remains when it is felled.
The holy seed is its stump.”
Isaiah was told that people would “not understand” something, that they would be “insensitive,” and it is my theory that this message refers to man-made electromagnetic energy, which has real effects that are sometimes difficult for the human body to sense. This artificial energy is produced by power lines, radio, TV, and cell phone towers, Wi-Fi routers, and other man-made devices.
Many books have been written about the dangers of this type of energy (see my post “The Rain That Falls”), but, as with those whom Cassandra warned, the majority of people, especially those who have the power to change things, don’t believe these warnings. Ironically, this seems to be the will of God. But when Isaiah asks, “How long?” meaning, “How long will this blindness go on?” the Lord says, “Until… the land is utterly desolate….”
But at that point, we can imagine, it will be too late for most people on the earth to “return and be healed.” But God’s will will be done, even if it requires that most people reject the truth of what is going on.
The collapse of many bee colonies in recent years has been called “colony collapse disorder.” Perhaps something related could be called “societal collapse disorder,” for Jesus predicted a “great tribulation” (meaning “extreme distress”) that would take place upon the whole earth. He said that only the elect (or “chosen ones”) would survive on the earth. (See Matthew 24 and Luke 17.)
However, this is a world of time, and the events in time, though important, do not exist in eternity. This world is like a theater play, in which we all play our parts, and we may have the opportunity to play many parts in many lifetimes, until we play the part of the completely loving soul and are ready for an eternity in heaven.
In conclusion, if it is God’s will that many people be ignorant and remain in denial until “disaster” strikes, how can we find fault with their ignorance? It may all be part of God’s plan to purify the earth, so the earth can reach the next stage in its spiritual evolution, and so those who incarnate on the earth in the future will benefit from its increased vibrations, harmony, and peace.
