A special love is like a laser beam:
We focus love on one specific heart,
but we exclude all others from our dream
and aren’t aware we’ve split the world apart.
A universal love is like the sun:
It sends out gentle, life-enhancing rays,
it offers sustenance to everyone,
and gives us warmth throughout our earthly days.
A laser love can burn us with its heat
and leave a broken heart and lonely soul,
but sun-like love could make our lives complete
by shining on the planet as a whole.
If we could shine just like the sun above,
the world would soon be filled with endless love.
